I initiated my path to photography with an almost microscopic view of the world, with a ludic spirit, decontextualizing objects to show them in their purest form, focusing in their textures. This experimental practice as well as critical personal experiences led me to an inner need to express myself and to reflect on existential matters, in an intimate and autobiographical manner. That is how my first conceptual project “Inflection point” was born, a project made from staged photography and photo-manipulation techniques, surreal and dreamlike, with painterly aesthetics.
